About Us

First and foremost, every member of the Prophet Bus team is a Christian who believes that the Bible is the foundation of our faith.  Secondly, each one of us is a 'born-again' disciple of Jesus Christ.  Our mission is embodied in the words that Jesus gave to His disciples in Matthew 10:1: "He gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease." and in Mark 16:15, when Jesus told His disciples to go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  Jesus has also given us the 'Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven' and whatever we shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever we shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." (Matthew 16:19).

 

      We consider ourselves to be newsboys and newsgirls -- like the newsboys you see on the streets.  The difference is that our newspapers are the Gospel tracts and literature that spreads the wonderful news of the Gospel - God's Love.      The members of our team are also members of our non-denomination missionary-minded worldwide church, The Family International and we take our responsibility of a living example of Christianity seriously. Following the pattern of the earliest Christians, we maintain a cooperative lifestyle, sharing our material possessions, resources and responsibilities with one another. This economical and communal way of life enhances our efforts and plays an important part in the furtherance of our work.
